Miner’s Flat Fire Extinguisher

The early morning sun highlights an old bicarbonate of soda and water fire extinguisher that sits on display in the Miner’s Flat parking lot in front of Dr.Windles’s office in Georgetown.

Pelton wheels, old trucks, mining equipment and other artifacts related to the Gold Rush can be found in and around Miner’s Flat and the Buffalo Hill shopping area.

  1. I spent more than 10 years of my life looking for a kind of water fire extinguisher like that one.. I finally found it today 🙂 I’m from Chilean Patagonia, and I have of this extinguisher. It’s almost the same one, i found it at the backyard of my house, and all i knew was that this one was really antique, and was brought it by ship, throught the Pacific Ocean. Thank You guys!
