Crime “Mapping” New Tool For Divide Residents

A new partnership between the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and CrimeReports, creators of the National Crime Map at CrimeReports.com, is providing Georgetown Divide residents with the ability to find out how safe their neighborhoods really are.

El Do County’s partnership with CrimeReports gives our local residents the ability to stay informed on a regular basis of just what is going on in our community. Access to the crime map is available 24 hours a day on the CrimeReports website or through the CrimeReports IPhone app (a free download) or in the Apple ITunes store.

The new service even let’s local residents sign up for email alerts, so they can stay on top of crime in their neighborhood. What a great tool this is for all of El Dorado County!

You can access your local crime map and sign up for daily, weekly or monthly email crime alerts at www.CrimeReports.com or at the El Dorado County Sheriff’s website at www.co.el-dorado.ca.us/sheriff
